THE SOLUTION FOR THE TREATMENT OF FECAL SAMPLES.

EasyCal is the most advanced and precise device to collect repeatable amounts of feces to be used both with the classic immunoenzymatic and rapid immunochromatographic methods.
EasyCal is a ready-to-use device consisting of a tube containing the extraction solution (2.8 ml) and a specially designed dipstick with seven horizontal grooves for sample collection. The special design allows a simple use with any type of feces (normal, liquid, not formed, dry).
After collecting the stool sample, the device is inserted into the blue separator that retains the excess of fecal samples, not needed for the test. Only the adequate amount of feces (56 mg) gets therefore dispersed into the extraction solution present in the tube.
Following a simple and fast protocol for calprotectin extraction, the separator can be unscrewed counterclockwise and replaced with a clean cap. The sample within the tube can then be immediately analyzed or frost at -20°C for subsequent tests. If an automated instrumentation is used, the device can be placed directly into the sample rack and processed.
Thanks to a continuous improvement of the product, there is now a new and optimized protocol for calprotectin extraction. The implementations decrease the procedure steps allowing to save precious execution time and making it even easier. The innovated device now has an increased storage time, either with or without the sample.
